News from the beyond the graaaaave… We added 2 new big features to the game! traps and random events!
Des nouvelles d’outre-toooombe… On a ajouté 2 nouvelles features au jeu ! des pièges, et des évènements aléatoires !

Traps allow players to automate parts of the victims slaughtering for those who favor efficiency to manual craftsmanship.
Some are non lethal, useful to attract, move, push, or bind visitors. Others are… more evil-friendly.
Ils permettent d’automatiser tout ou partie du massacre des victimes, pour ceux qui préfèrent la productivité au travail manuel biggrin
Certains ne font que déplacer les visiteurs, d’autres sont… un peu plus méchants.

We have added a first batch of random events. Some are pretty straight-forward, other will have less predictable outcomes.
(and we’re going to get the frenglish fixed wink)
On a ajouté une première partie d’événements aléatoires.

Certains sont assez directs, d’autres auront des résultats moins prévisibles.

Getting the Beta version ready

With these latest features, the time to unleash the beta is close! We are hunting bugs and polishing parts to be able to send the beta version to the wonderful Kickstarter backers this month.
Finaliser la version beta du jeu
Avec ces ajouts, le moment de libérer la beta approche ! On chasse les bugs et on fait les ajustements nécessaires afin d’envoyer la version beta aux merveilleux contributeurs du Kickstarter ce mois-ci.

Duck & Roll on appgratis

Duck & Roll has been feature by Appgratis.
This put us first in music game category, in France, Italia and Spain this week-end !
I reasure you, we didn’t became rich (far from it…). It’s still nice motivation boost.

Duck & Roll progression:
Two new maps has been done. Only the last one remains to be done.
I hope this new version will be ready this month (or the next one).

Ludum Dare this week-end

Me and my girlfriends are doing the Ludum dare.
The ludum dare (hard to pronounce) is an online game jam where people from around the world create a game in a weekend.
During the same week end there is two competition:
– The hardcore competition where you are alone, and you need to do everything yourself from the ground up.
– The more relax competition “The jam” where you can be more than one and use any middleware you want. You also have one extra day (3 days).

We are more than one :), and it’s our first jam, that’s why we are doing “The Jam”.

The theme of this jam is “your are the vilain
We start the second day of the competition and I’m pretty confident. The idea is good and the design my girl friend came up ( are fantastic.
Our characters are already living and moving. I just need to make them die now 🙂

Macbook bad luck

if you remember, my old macbook wasn’t compatible with the new Xcode SDK (Apple dropped the support).
So I bought a shiny used Macbook air (from 2011). But after 1 month and a half, It just died…
Apple support wasn’t as good as I expect. There is 2 big Apple Store in Paris, but none of them fix macbook air…
They only fix IPod and IPhone 🙂
I found an apple repairer but far from where I live.
The verdict: I have to change the motherboard, died from the heat, despite the fact that I really took care of it.
It cost me almost the same price as a used Macbook air.
I really don’t know what I’m going to do. I already spend a lot of money for Duck & Roll and I need to found again the extra money for it.

I accumulate many bad luck things this year, I hope 2013 is better 🙂
